This is the singer’s first track since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and the first Ukrainian-language single – a cry from the heart of Misha Romanova, who was forced to leave her family in search of safety for her young son.

“When the war started, I was forced to take my son to a safer place. So we temporarily moved to Germany. It took me a very long time to get back to what I love most of all – creativity. All this time I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to sing about in my new songs.  If I used to be more bold and outspoken both in my tracks and on stage, now I want safety and comfort, to reflect what my heart is aching about, as well as the heart of every woman for almost a year now. – says Misha Romanova. – I planned to present the track “Winter” in early 2022, but the energy and meanings of this single have lost their relevance. So she decided to postpone the premiere. But Andriy Osadchuk gave the song a new life. The new lyrics were born out of our phone conversations. Knowing my story and the difficult experiences of being separated from my family, which partially remained in occupied Kherson, he offered me lyrics that struck me to the core. And we very quickly recorded a new version of the song,” the singer comments on the premiere.

The premiere of the track “Winter” is already available on all streaming platforms.
