A million hryvnias for the Armed Forces: Kureni is invited to a new charity meeting

In July, Kureni, one of Kyiv’s brightest playgrounds, opened its doors with the main goal of raising funds to help soldiers defending our lands from the occupier in the 110th, 112th brigades, 128th separate battalion of the Armed Forces, 6th company of the 248th brigade, 17th company of the 7th battalion of the 27th brigade of the National Guards of Ukraine and the 2nd mechanical battalion of military unit A4007. Charity meetings for the benefit of our defenders were regularly held at the location for three months. In the second half of autumn, Kureni is not going to stop — on September 30, October 1 and 2, they invite guests to the Kureni Bagryani charity meeting to once again join forces to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Helping brothers on the front line

Thanks to the caring visitors and artists who participated in the events, the Kureni team has already purchased and donated to the defenders innovative military equipment for one million hryvnias. Among other things, they include: DJI MAVIC 3 drone, 2 cars — Volkswagen Transporter T6 and Nissan Pathfinder, 10 Samsung tablets for convenient control of drones, 10 128 GB memory cards, 5 professional charging stations, 4 solar panels, 5th class body armor and other equipment

A winning musical cocktail

To support our heroes, foreign artists came to Ukraine and performed on the Kureni stage: Afro-house ideologue HYENAH from Berlin, JOEL with his Los Angeles groove, FADI from France.

Our artists, groups and DJs became regular guests of charity meetings: LATEXFAUNA, TVORCHI, ROXOLANA, CEPASA, PROBASS & HARDY, ЮЮ, Disappeared Completely, CAPE COD, Alexjazz, KAROON, Dennis Adu & Yana Vialova 5tet, Soloviov Jazz, Drum&Tuba Band , “SOL” trio, Smailov, Artem Neba, Votuma, David Kareyan, Mishukov & Bogdanov, Ksenia Palfy, Runov & Fleming, Deenara, The Hardestone, Nil Tarasov, Den Maar and others.

The stand-up teams “Brodyachy Stand Up” and “Kyiv Stand Up Cult” helped to maintain fighting spirit with apt jokes at all events.

A reliable cultural front

Talented Ukrainian masters were responsible for art at charity meetings: Vitaly Kravets, Demian Feriy, Anastasia Ryabchuk, Serge Payet, Ekvalion, batabams and Nataliya Sugiriy | RioVerde. Their creations were displayed on the second floor on the way to the observation deck.

Extraordinary artists from Odesa and Kyiv also joined the collection of funds to help the Armed Forces: Zheka Kotenko, Dmytro Nikonorov, Hanna Oborska, and Yaroslav Wojciechovskyi. They presented their latest works for sale in support of Ukrainian soldiers.

Market at charity meetings in Kureni

During each of the charity meetings, a market of domestic craftsmen and manufacturers was held in Kureni. There they sold things made by the hands of Ukrainian craftsmen from heart to heart, and the vinyl store Gram Record Store Kyiv operated. Over 100 producers joined the market in 3 months.

Retreat in the heart of Kyiv

Smartass and EBSH helped to maintain a healthy body and spirit during the charity meetings, which organized training in yoga, stretching and other sports.

Kureni Crimson: The Kureni are again invited to unite

September 30 and October 1 & 2 invites you to another charity meeting. It will be called Kureni Bagryani and will traditionally aim to raise as much money as possible for innovative equipment for our soldiers.

For the September-October meeting, the venue team has prepared a select line-up of Ukrainian musicians. Three charity evenings will be headlined by the electronic researcher MONOCONDA, the passionate and expressive indie electro-pop band KADNAY and the artists of the leading Melodic House & Techno/Progressive House labels Monastetiq.

In addition to musical performances, on September 30, October 1 and 2, visitors will find a market of interesting things, outdoor sports and yoga, delicious food and drinks, an art park and picturesque Kyiv landscapes.

Kureni is not going to stop and will continue to warm music lovers with selected music. The venue team is preparing 2 big concerts of famous artists for this season. Foreign stars and unexpected music genres are all coming soon to Kureni.

In the event of an air raid, there is a shelter for a limited number of people on the territory, and the world’s deepest metro station “Arsenalna” is located nearby for mass shelter.
