An exclusive interview for our Internet portal was given by a certified nutritionist trainer, popular blogger Inna Aminova. She told how her journey in sports began, about her fitness project, the peculiarities of her nutrition programs and debunked the most popular myths about weight loss.

– Inna, how and why did you decide to become a trainer and nutritionist? how did your path to sports and healthy eating begin?

From early childhood, my life was very difficult: being very young, I had to defend myself, my mother and my younger sister – even then the character of a fighter was born in me. Sport was necessary for me, it was where I showed my strength and released negative emotions. In my hometown all my childhood I was engaged in swimming, gymnastics, dancing.

When I moved to Krasnoyarsk, I had no family or friends here, I didn’t know the city. Having entered the institute, I started to communicate with my peers and realized that my interests do not coincide with theirs in everything. Clubs and nightlife had absolutely no appeal to me. Besides studying and working, I wanted to do something that would give me joy and pleasure. I needed something where I could show my character. That’s how I got into the gym. Gradually, I dived headfirst into the topic of nutrition and training, read tons of books, and experimented with my form.

A few years later, a terrible betrayal occurred in my life and I was left alone with an infant child in my arms and no means of coexistence. Then I had to pick myself up piece by piece and become strong for myself and my son. Not going crazy and sinking into a victim state helped me, again, with sports!

In addition to bringing myself to my senses, I needed to make money. But I didn’t want to just plow mindlessly for money, I wanted realization, recognition, I dreamed of doing good and helping people. At that moment, I realized that  I want to be a trainer and nutritionist, I can  help women find the perfect figure and fulfill their dreams!

– Tell us more about your fitness project. What are its peculiarities and differences from others?

The main feature of my project is that it is aimed not only at achieving some external wishes (weight gain or weight loss), but also at improving the body as a whole.

My nutrition program normalizes the work of all internal organs, as a result girls get clear skin, thick hair, regular cycle and long-awaited pregnancy.

The workout plan I have designed can eliminate pelvic floor problems, improve posture, work deeper into your muscles, improve endurance and flexibility  and so on. I use so many useful  techniques from smart fitness, plus I use taping.

There are no standardized menus or workout plans in my project that supposedly fit everyone. Each client is given an individualized menu and workout plan, before which I personally conduct an online diagnosis.

People come to my project more for health and wellness, and as a bonus, they get a gorgeous figure!

– You have helped transform the figure of many women. And whose changes have been the most striking, who are you most proud of?

I am madly in love and proud of each of my girls, I see how much effort and hard work they put into their journey. It’s not fair or right for me to single out one best one, they are all the best to me! That’s why I never do weight loss marathons with prizes where you have to pick the best one out of 1000 people.

– Debunk the most popular myths about sports and nutrition.

  1. The less you eat, the faster you lose weight.

The less you eat, the more your metabolism slows down, consequently the slower you lose weight. The less you eat, the more likely you are to crash and go back to your previous eating pattern. Your nutrition should be nutritionally valuable and healthy.

  1. You can’t eat after 6pm.

You can and should, if you go to bed later than 20:00.A light proper dinner (protein + vegetables) is necessary, otherwise the body will start to “eat” your muscles.

  1. Losing weight on low carbohydrate diets is fast and effective.

Any diet is dangerous to your health. Lack of vital micronutrients can lead to malfunction of the entire body, as a consequence – hair loss, flabby and sagging skin, problems with the cycle and stool, gastritis ulcers.

  1. To lose weight you need to work out every day until 7 sweats.

You don’t have to work out until 7 sweats, but until the desired result. High-impact workouts and training with heavy weights are not always useful or necessary. Pre-diagnosis and making a correct training plan is important.

– And how do you feed yourself, how do you train? What indulgences do you allow?

For the past few years, I’ve been keeping fit by eating 5-6 times a day and working out 3 times a week. I am a person of discipline, so I give myself indulgences in extreme cases: illness, priorities in work. Not so long ago I had a surgery, after it a period of rehabilitation – accordingly, I did not attend trainings.

– Have you yourself ever had to lose excess weight?

Yes, of course. My highest weight was 64 kilograms. From this weight I started my sports activities. What helped me was the regimen: 3-4 meals a day and working out. I didn’t have any more periods of gaining excess weight as I always kept myself in shape.

– Who and what inspires you? What is your definition of feminine beauty?

I am inspired by all the brilliant and successful people who have come up with some cool achievements and success. I watch their interviews, read books about them, attend their trainings. I love absorbing information from them and striving to do better. I have a credo in life: “If one has reached steep heights, then anyone can do it! The main thing is discipline, a precise goal and a plan”

To me, feminine beauty is about inner health. When a woman has internal health, all her organs are in order, she has a balance between family, work and herself. When a woman radiates love, joy and kindness. When it’s free of envy and whining. Such a woman is filled and beautiful. And it doesn’t matter what her weight, eye color or hair color is. It is this inner beauty that captivates and mesmerizes me.

– Inna, many girls start let to ZOJ, but quickly stop. How to avoid this? How do you motivate yourself to make changes and even realize you need them?

To begin with, it is precisely to be clear – whether you really need a change. It is often the case that a girl is comfortable at her weight, everything suits her, she is happy. But society (friends, husband, Instagram) enforces the fashion for perfect bodies and, lo and behold, she wants to lose weight too. Usually after 3 to 5 days, this urge goes away. Honestly admit to yourself, do you want to change anything about your figure? Does it affect your quality of life? Does it affect your health?

If you really want and are ready to make a change, the next important step is to choose a professional to help you make it. It is possible, of course, and go all this difficult path yourself, but it will take more time and effort. If you have chosen a competent specialist, he will make you such a plan of nutrition and training, will give you such motivation and support,  at which breakdowns will be minimized, respectively, not to reach the desired goal chances will simply not be.

And, to conclude our conversation, please give us some tips on how to get in shape as quickly as possible without harming your body?

The easiest and most effective steps to improving your shape and appearance, in general, that will be beneficial and safe for everyone:

–  eliminate fast carbohydrates, fast food from your diet;

– add more seasonal vegetables and herbs;

– drink the right amount of water;

– perform daily minimal physical activity (a walk after dinner, morning exercises, active games with children in the street or at home)
