Inessa Lee: “Gratitude for the New Year will make it better”
American TV host, singer, and beauty astrologer Inessa Lee was the heroine of January’s digital cover magazine Woman Magazine. On the eve of the New Year holidays, Inessa bought a new property and actively engaged in creating a cozy atmosphere in the house, based on her astrological experience.
In an exclusive interview, the TV host not only talked about the new stage of life, but also gave professional advice to readers to help make the year a success.
“The American Dream is a big house, two cars, two dogs, and fresh mail in the morning. Are things this colorful in real life in the States?
About two dogs is an exaggeration. The car and the house are more about the way of life in the United States. The American dream is more of a fulfilled desire for self-actualization. For example, he came to the States as a student and had a career as a corporate general manager.
This year you purchased real estate in Las Vegas. Why did you choose this particular city?
Las Vegas is a celebration city. I used to come here for a concert or just to relax. Even then the idea of settling down here flashed in my head, but there was no reason to. And in 2020, people began moving to Nevada en masse from California because of fires, terrible air quality, and high COVID-19 rates. I decided to follow the example of my friends, and they recommended me a good realtor.
And I have not regretted my choice. Vegas has everything for a happy life: restaurants for every taste, social events, rousing shows and golf courses. It’s impossible to get bored here.
But our home is not in Las Vegas itself, but in its suburbs, Henderson. We chose this city because it was ranked second in Forbes’ safety and well-being rankings. Henderson has a well-developed infrastructure. Restaurants, cinemas and stores are within walking distance of the house, which is very convenient.
Describe your ideal home. What does it have to have?
When we were looking for a house, I chose the option with the fireplace. This detail is important to me because the fireplace creates extra coziness. It was fun to decorate it for the New Year. It’s also great to have a pool and jacuzzi – I love to swim in the morning. Now my bedroom window overlooks the pool – and that’s wonderful.
Will you be designing the new property yourself?
I’ve been studying feng shui for many years, so I do my own home decorating. As soon as we got the keys, I used a compass to determine what color the walls and floor should be in different sectors of the house, and I called the repair crew. It’s not the first time I’ve been in charge of the repair process myself – it’s very exciting.
It is said that a pet is the first to enter a new home. Do you love pets?
To tell you the truth, I can’t stand dogs and cats because they shed and smell bad. I never had any desire to get a pet. I had a parrot as a child, but I had to get rid of it because of allergies.
Vegas is a city with character and a special atmosphere. You, too, are known to be a girl with pepper who also likes to visit casinos. How often does luck smile on you?
Yes, I’m quite a gambler – I love casinos, and they love me. The first time I ever played blackjack, I got 21 points five times in a row. And last summer I won the jackpot in a machine.
Do you think success is a matter of luck or hard work?
Both are true. As a lover of astrology, I know that no matter how hard you work, nothing will work if the stars don’t help. Therefore, we need to work and wait for the arrival of a good astrological period to “harvest”.
You work as an anchorwoman for an American TV station. Tell us your secrets of perfect English?
Yes, I used to do weather on PBS, and now I’m getting ready to work on a new project, on another channel. Every day I work on my articulation – I do speech exercises and read aloud texts from the teleprompter online.
You recently opened a foreign language school. What language learning methods are offered by IFERS?

Inessa, what advice would you, as a beauty astrologer, give our readers in the new year?
The coming year of the bull contains a lot of energy of water and metal, but the element of fire is poorly manifested. Therefore, you should wear red, pink and orange clothes more often during the year. It will give us optimism and increase our sex appeal. After all, it is these colors that translate the energy of Mars that feeds our libido. It is useful to wear bright and large green accessories – it will give you a unique charm.
Speaking of beauty astrology. You were planning to launch a Princess X mascot jewelry collection. Is it already possible to buy jewelry?
The first piece of my collection is the “X” bracelet. This is a talisman for attracting love and harmony. Made of gold and rose quartz. The bracelet is already available for pre-order. Each piece is handmade by artisans in an Indian ashram.
How do you plan to celebrate the winter holidays?
This is our first New Year’s Eve in our new home. First we’ll celebrate with the family, and then we’ll go to a casino party somewhere, unless, of course, Vegas closes again for quarantine.
Do you make a wish by the chime? Share your holiday traditions.
I don’t like to make wishes at the sound of the chimes. I prefer to do this while looking at the fireworks in the sky. I also like to thank the passing year long and hard at the holiday table for everything it has given me. I believe that gratitude will make the coming year even better.
What are your goals for 2021?
My only goal is to live according to God’s will. I don’t set specific goals for myself because I believe in providence. Each year brings us experiences that contribute to personal growth. I wish all readers a happy new year and God’s blessings.
