“As part of a comprehensive #Course100, we were able to bring together in a single community a large number of versatile security experts who are professionals in their field
many of which are recognized not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. It fills our people with faith and optimism that more than 1200 people applied for this big comprehensive course, and more than 500 people from 156 communities in Ukraine have enrolled and the total number of views of the course lectures on YouTube has exceeded 69,000. Now our graduates and all spectators who watched the open lectures can and will spread the acquired knowledge and safety practices among the population of their cities, bringing the culture of safety of life in Ukraine to the standards of countries with a high standard of living and social security”, – said Olga Drobysheva, founder of the Safety Park Education Center.

Also words of gratitude expressed

Serhiy Rud, Member of the Board, Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development of Winner Group Ukraine:
“We are very careful when selecting projects for cooperation: what matters to us is the uniqueness of the project, its scale, necessity and relevance in our country, as well as how close it is to us, our values and mission. First of all, we are an automobile company, so the topic of safety, especially road safety, is very close to us. We are sincerely grateful to be a part of this project! This is the third year we’ve partnered, first with Traffic Challenge and now with Safety Park, and I think the history of collaboration will continue in the future, given the scale. We’re really proud of the collaboration because it’s projects like this that change the country and our future for the better.”

The presentation of the educational campaign featured one animated and five Konik-Durkonik music videos. Ukrainian musician Andrei “Mukha” Samoilo wrote the music for the social videos, and Ukrainian film director, producer and screenwriter Yevgeny Matvienko drew the main character and a series of illustrations for the animation. The voices of the campaign were: the son of Viktoria Yagich – Stefan, semifinalist of “The Voice of the Country” show, the daughter of Olga Drobysheva – founder of the Safety Park educational center, and Kira Kasyanova, vocalist of the Ukrainian girls’ rock band The Sixsters.

“The social campaign “Konik-Durkonik” is another high-profile step towards the formation of a high general level of safety culture in Ukraine, which has a provocative and irritating nature, but is implemented with a global goal – to lead to a resulting decrease in the number of dead and seriously injured Ukrainian children and teenagers – our Ukrainian youth from ignorance and failure to follow safety rules, from their and our thoughtlessness.” – Olga Drobysheva stressed.

Video and audio clips “Konik-Durkonik” will be rotated on television, in the network of gas stations WOG, on the pages of the video service Megogo, on the air of radio stations “Jam FM” and “Autoradio”, in social networks Facebook and YouTube, and other Internet resources.

The goal of the Konik-Durkonik social campaign is to engage young people in learning the world’s modern safety practices, methods and protocols, as well as to inform the population of Ukraine about the main principles of personal safety and the possibility of
of free training on the site
of the Safety Park Education Center, where more than 30 public lectures are posted.

Also on September 15, the public initiative “When Rip can become R.I.P.”, aimed at warning tourists vacationing in water bodies of Ukraine about the dangers of a natural phenomenon called “bump current” (or “reverse current”), which is formed during low tide in large bodies of water: seas and lakes, was presented at the event. The goal of this initiative is to reduce the number of deaths in the country’s water bodies and to inform the public about the phenomenon of “backflow,” which kills people every year.

“The practice of placing warning signs about backflow is a common practice in many countries. In Ukraine there have not been any signs so far, although every year people die from backwaters. The first warning signs as part of the “When Rip Can Become R.I.P.” campaign will be installed on the territory of the Black Sea coast of Odessa region, and we hope that in time all places in Ukraine, where this natural phenomenon can appear, will be provided with such informative materials”, – The organizers of the campaign told us.
