Blogger Vlad Shevchenko on creating videos
Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, internet star Vlad Shevchenko has provided a smile and a distraction for many Ukrainians. He chose the humorous front: he publishes funny videos on topical issues. It helps us to laugh at difficult situations, relieve emotional stress, and survive these difficult times. Behind the scenes of the entertainment project “eVopytaniya”, which is broadcasted by New Channel every Monday at 20:00, Vlad shared the details of creating humorous videos.

Question.
“Sometimes I force myself to look at certain things positively. After all, the very mention of an event in a different context – humorous or simply informative – can hurt. I don’t have a task to make a video like this for someone to think: “Yeah, this is a normal event.” Because it is not,” the blogger shares his thoughts. – I can see by people’s reactions whether a particular video is “working” for them. Even if you read a lot of negative articles about a news story but see something funny in it, it helps you to reboot.”
Vlad can spend a few days or a week creating a video.
“But if the news is very urgent and we need to make a video about it today, I can do it in two hours. That’s the shortest time I’ve ever spent on an idea, shooting and editing a video. It doesn’t happen often, but thanks to the skills I’ve already acquired, I can handle it as quickly as possible,” says comedian Vlad Shevchenko. “If it’s a regular video, it can take several days to create the video. Or, sometimes, I come up with an idea and finalize it in stages over the course of a week.”
