TVORCHI performed at a promotional concert for the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv

On April 3, the Ukrainian band TVORCHI performed with the song “Heart of Steel” at a large-scale promotional concert for the Eurovision Song Contest – Israel Calling 2023. The event was held in Tel Aviv with the participation of more than 20 artists. Israel Calling 2023 marked the 50th anniversary of Israel’s participation in the Song Contest.
For several days, the artists, along with the majority of this year’s Eurovision participants, took part in promotional events in Israel. In particular, artists from took part in planting saplings in the KKL Eurovision Forest in the European Forest, which was partially devastated by a fire in 2019. The organizers’ goal is to raise awareness of climate change.
Karin Bolton, Director of International Relations at KKL-JNF, opened the event with a speech:
“Your music is like a seed of hope sown for the future.”
“We hope that soon we will be planting trees in Ukraine. On our own land,” they told TVORCHI.
It should be noted that TVORCHI is the representative of Ukraine at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. Recently, they presented an updated version of the song “Heart of Steel” with which they will represent Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool this May .
Earlier, on March 25, TVORCHI performed at the first concert of the Barcelona Eurovision Party, a promotional tour for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
Public Broadcasting, a member of the European Broadcasting Union, organizes and conducts the selection of the song and the representative of Ukraine, as well as ensures the participation of the representative of Ukraine in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
