NAONI makes a large-scale show in Pochayna Event Hall
On November 19, at Pochayna Event Hall, the famous NAONI orchestra will combine musical hits from the most beloved films in a special Ukrainian sound, costume performances, and an impressive circular projection in one show.
It is difficult to find a person in our country who does not know the National Orchestra. And everyone who has ever been to their performance understands how unique this group is.
NAONI are unique instruments that are not heard in this combination in any other musical project in the world and in the hands of true virtuoso masters create mesmerizing sound magic! Flute, pan-flute, okara, bandura, cymbals, trembita and drymba will play your favorite music from world movie hits. The circular video projection will completely immerse you in the atmosphere of the musical journey and create a sense of personal presence in the movie.
NAONI is preparing an amazing show and experiment. The program includes music from Star Wars, The Godfather, Schindler’s List and Harry Potter, Game of Thrones and Sherlock Holmes, Mission Impossible and Pirates of the Caribbean. But add to this a live performance, the three-dimensional sound of a large orchestra and the unique Ukrainian flavor.
Oles Zhuravchak, Managing Director of the NANI and director of the Kinosymphony project, explained why the NANI decided to implement this project now: “There is a war in our country. We often hear the question: “Is it appropriate to hold concerts?”. I can confidently say that it is appropriate, necessary and even necessary! Why? Because our society is a single organism in which everyone has to fulfill their function. When the body works for a long time in a mode of extreme physical and mental stress, it eventually “burns out”. To maintain effectiveness, it is necessary to have at least short periods of rest, therapy, and rehabilitation. That is why, in fulfillment of our mission in society, we have launched a music therapy program from NAONI. In particular, the Cinema Symphony project allows each viewer to travel through time through the prism of music and video sequences of famous films that have been in everyone’s life and are associated with different periods of their personal lives. It is an emotional switch that releases the mental energy of long-term tension and fills with the power of already experienced and new emotions and sensations.”

The NAONI orchestra has deservedly won the Battle of the Bands project seven times. And over the past few years, under the artistic direction of Viktor Hutsal, the orchestra’s musical experiments have become more interesting, bold, and innovative. In collaboration with representatives of modern music genres and top performers, we have successfully held joint concerts with many stars of our Ukrainian scene, including ONUKA, Oleg Skrypka, Ruslana, Jamala, Artem Pivovarov, Druha Rika, Mad Heads, Kozak System and others.
