Zelensky to attend G7 summit in Japan in person

Volodymyr ZelenskyiPresident of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will travel to Hiroshima, Japan, to personally join the leaders of the Group of Seven countries. This was reported by the American TV channel Bloomberg.

According to journalists, the Ukrainian president will fly to Japan on a US military plane. Before that, he is scheduled to stop in Saudi Arabia to participate in the Arab League summit.

“The visit to Hiroshima, where the first nuclear attack took place 78 years ago, is especially symbolic given Russian President Vladimir Putin’s periodic threats to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine,” the statement said.
