President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy summarized his trip to European countries, namely Italy, Germany, France, and the UK. The Head of State thanked for the announced military assistance packages.
“I thank Germany for the largest defense package: 2 billion 700 million euros, air defense systems (Iris-T – ed.) of various modifications and missiles for them, guns and shells, armored vehicles… In addition, Germany will support our country in the long term. We have 11 billion euros for this purpose, purely for defense. In addition, Germany participates in the European Peace Fund, which strengthens our defense,” the president said on his social media.

“I am grateful to the UK for the agreement to train our pilots. We are creating a coalition to train pilots on modern Western aircraft. Britain – yes, Poland – yes. I am sure France and our other partners will join. We continue to work on the fighter jet coalition, and we are moving actively. Of course, I am grateful to the UK for the long-range capabilities for our soldiers, for their long-range capability,” the President of Ukraine added.
The leader of the country also thanked Italy for protecting the sky and preparing for the full reconstruction of Ukraine after the hostilities. France was also grateful “for new opportunities for our soldiers in countering Russian terror.”
