Israeli warning system has already been launched in KyivThis week, an Israeli early warning system for missile strikes was launched in Kyiv. This was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk, according to The Jerusalem Post.

“Ukraine asked Israel for a missile attack warning system after Russia’s invasion last year. The previous government had promised the system to Ukraine, but the ambassador noted the personal involvement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in ensuring the project’s rapid completion,” the article says.

The Israeli warning system identifies rockets and projectiles of all kinds and the projects where they will fall to narrow the radius where residents may be in danger. It also calculates how long people in the area have to seek shelter.

“This is very important for our civilian and military infrastructure. This is equipment that will allow us to save lives,” the ambassador added.
