IMDb named the most popular movies and series of 2022

The online movie platform IMDb has released the ratings of the most popular movies and series of 2022. The lists are based on the data on the views of the site visitors of a particular page.

The first place in the ranking of films is occupied by “Batman” with Robert Pattinson in the main role. The superhero film directed by Matt Reeves was released worldwide in March and became one of the highest-grossing films of the year.

“Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness”, “Thor: Love and Thunder”, “Top Gun: Maverick”, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, “Varyag”, “Gray Man”, “Everything Always at the same time”, “Death on the Nile” and “X” made it to the top ten most popular movies. 

The rating of the most popular series is headed by the fourth season of “Stranger Things”. The science fiction series created by the Duffer brothers for Netflix tells about mystical events in an American town in the mid-1980s.

In the top ten were series such as “House of the Dragon”, “Better Call Saul”, “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”, “Euphoria”, “The Boys”, “Moon Knight”, “The Sandman”, “Ozark” and ” Fictional Anna”.
