Drone attack in Ukraine: what is known

The drone attack in Ukraine took place on Friday night. They launched 12 kamikaze strike drones from the north, or rather from the Bryansk region, eight of which were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders. 

“The occupants used up to 12 Shahed-136/131 attack drones. The forces and means of air defense of the Air Command “Center” of the Air Force in cooperation with the air defense of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed eight “Shahed”, – said the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine .

The capital itself was also attacked. About 8 enemy targets were detected and shot down. There were no casualties or damage. 

“After 25 days of calm, the capital of Ukraine has been subjected to another air attack by the enemy. The enemy’s tactics remained unchanged. At nightfall, the terrorist country launched drones from the northern direction. According to preliminary information, the Muscovite aggressor probably used a new batch of Iranian Shahed UAV. About 8 enemy targets were detected and shot down on the approach to the capital. There were no casualties or damage at the moment. The information is being updated.
