Kuleba: Ukraine is open to peace plan
In an interview with CNN, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine is ready to discuss any peace initiative that does not involve freezing the situation at the front and territorial concessions.
“First, there should be no conditions that Ukraine cedes any of its territories to Russia in exchange for the end of the war, because it has never worked before and it will not work in the future. And secondly, the conflict should not become frozen,” said the Ukrainian Foreign Minister.
Ukraine is already ready to discuss a peace plan that includes these two conditions.
“If (Brazilian) President Lula da Silva wants to make a political investment in a coalition of a group of countries that are ready to promote peace with full respect for these two principles, we are ready to talk to them. But if he tries to deviate from these principles, we will immediately respond publicly,” Kuleba added.
