Balenciaga shows spring collection in support of Ukraine
It has become fashionable for brands and companies to support Ukraine in this difficult time. Supporting Ukraine is important not only for Ukraine but also for the entire international community, as it contributes to peace and stability in the region. Thus, Balenciaga’s creative director Demna Gvasalia showed the brand’s spring collection in support of Ukraine. In an interview with the publication, the fashion designer admitted that global events, including the full-scale war in Ukraine, have influenced his work.
“I read the news. I can’t disconnect from reality and just, you know, live in my office. We live in a terrible world, and fashion is a reflection of it,” said the designer.
