Save the top 6 cool places in Kamianets-Podilskyi from Oleksandr and Valeriia Pedan.
  1. City Hall and Polsky Rynok Square

“Without further ado, you have to see it. Basically, that’s where you should start exploring the city,” says Pedan.

  1. Swan Lake Square

“This is the most romantic place in Kamianets-Podilskyi,” says Lera Pedan, “There are many beautiful waterfalls, fountains, bridges, and alleys. And most importantly, there is a statue of a white deer, the symbol of the city. The most striking decoration there are swans – white and black.”

  1. Smotrytsky Canyon

“The Smotrych River flows through Kamianets-Podilskyi. And almost through the entire city, for four kilometers, there is a deep, narrow gorge called the Smotrych Canyon,” Pedan notes. “First of all, it’s very beautiful! Second, it’s a great place for climbing. Our Ukrainian climbers are very fond of it. And for the extreme, there’s a special zip line where you fly over the river at high speed. It is 38 meters high and 184 meters long.”

  1. The Cathedral Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul (20 Tatarska St.)

“It’s a cool tourist spot!” the TV presenter says. “There is a minaret in the church. Locals say that this is the only place in the world where a Christian symbol, the Virgin Mary, stands on a Muslim minaret. And there is also an arch of wishes, through which you can make a wish.”

  1. Rock shaman sandwich bar “Three in a Canoe” (10 Drahomanova St.)

“Local young people told us about this place,” the TV presenter says, “And back in 2019, Revizor was here and recommended the cafe. The place is very atmospheric, tasty and inexpensive. I also think it’s very important that Three in a Canoe volunteers and feeds IDPs with lunch.”

  1. Kamianets-Podilskyi fortress

“We left the business card of the city, which is one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine, for the end,” says Lera. “It’s not just a fortress, but a fortress city that began to be built a thousand years ago. Be sure to visit!”
