At the end of July, Timur Miroshnychenko, the host of the 1+1 Ukraine TV show, which now airs daily in the Breakfast with 1+1 at 09:10, finally received official documents for the adoption of his young son. <\/p>\n

Timur Miroshnychenko told us how he and his wife Inna overcame all the many difficulties of adoption, how their children, 5-year-old Mia and 3.5-year-old Marko, took the arrival of their new brother, and how little Marcel himself is currently adapting to the family.<\/p>\n

Timur says that the boy was born prematurely, weighing only 1 kg 400 g, which was very critical:<\/p>\n

“He was abandoned in the hospital. On the second day, he underwent surgery because some of his organs were underdeveloped to the point that it was incompatible with life. After that, he was transferred to intensive care for 4 months. Only closer to the 5th month did he reach the indicators he was supposed to be born with. When the doctors stabilized him, he was transferred to an orphanage, where he lived until he met us. During this period of time, his biological parents never came to visit him.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Only when Marcel turned one and a half years old did he receive the status of adoption. That is, for a year and a half, people who gave up their parental rights immediately at birth were not deprived of their children’s rights. Miroshnychenko admits that his wife Inna called all the orphanages in Ukraine in search of the baby. And everywhere she went she was told that she had no children!<\/p>\n
