\"aThe world’s first 3D-printed mosque will be built in Dubai. Its construction should begin by the end of this year and be completed in the first quarter of 2025. This was reported<\/a> by CNN.<\/p>\n

“We chose 3D printing because it has the<\/a> potential to save time and resources compared to traditional construction methods,” – explains the Dubai Government’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Deeds Authority (IACAD).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The building will include two floors – 2,000 square meters – and will be able to accommodate about 600 worshippers.<\/p>\n

The mosque will be built of concrete mix using a special 3D printer programmed for the project. With its help, three people will be able to build the walls of a building at a speed of two square meters per hour. It is expected that the construction of the general structure of the religious building will take about four months, and the interior decoration will take another twelve months.<\/p>\n
