“This character was very confident, she knew what to do and where to go. In fact, at that time, as an actress and as a woman, I did not feel so confident. I’m very proud because I was able to create such a character that after the series was released, I was even offered a job in the Verkhovna Rada,” she says about her role as Oksana in Servant of the People. “I met some men, and they made me such an offer. I explained to them that I couldn’t do what my character does, because I’m a different person, and all those qualities are not mine. This is a story about how actors can create an image that everyone believes in.” <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When choosing projects, Olya pays attention not only to the script, but also to the character she is going to play. According to her, she had to believe that she was right for the role.<\/p>\n

“If I realize that I am not suitable, I will not pass the casting properly. Because for me, belief in the project, understanding what my character is talking about and what she feels are important. This gives me the opportunity to connect with the character. I have to catch something in common between us. And if I think it doesn’t look like me at all, I’m unlikely to play it well. And my experience proves it,” says actress Olga Zhukovtseva.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
