\"Cellist\"Cellist Patrick Dexter from Ireland demonstrated his support with a touching performance of the Ukrainian<\/a> folk song “Oh, in the Cherry Orchard”. To create this video, the musician waited for the storm season, which occurs in the west of Ireland every year.<\/p>\n

“The news from the far end of the European continent continues to be relentlessly upsetting. Folk tunes have been playing in my head, waiting for the weather to turn bad so I can go out and send a tune from my cello to the Atlantic. I offer my melody to the wild winds that blow from the ocean and the east toward Ukraine, sending love and hope to all people. May peace soon return to this continent,” Dexter wrote in the description under videos<\/a> on YouTube.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
