March 10 is an important holiday for all Ukrainians<\/a> – the Day of the National Anthem of Ukraine. In 2021, on December 7, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the Day of the National Anthem of Ukraine<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The date of the National Anthem Day of Ukraine was chosen in accordance with the event when the work of composer Mykhailo Verbytskyi and poet Pavlo Chubynskyi “Ukraine has not yet died…” was first performed at a concert dedicated to Taras Shevchenko’s Memorial Day.<\/p>\n

Today, the anthem of Ukraine is heard not only in the country itself, but also in other countries around the world, praying for our future victory, for our children and mothers, for our soldiers, for our independence and freedom. <\/p>\n

The hymn was written in 1862, when Pavlo Chubynsky wrote the words, and later the priest Mykhailo Verbytsky wrote the music.<\/p>\n
