Ramina Eskhakzai<\/p><\/div>\n

Journalist<\/a> Ramina Eskhakzai visited the city of Bakhmut in late January 2022. According to Ramina herself, she did not manage to film everything as planned, but she is glad that almost at the cost of her life and the team, they were able to shoot exactly the material that is needed for the eyes of the world and show the truth about the existence of people in the frontline city.<\/span><\/p>\n

“You are about to see my report from the hero city of Bakhmut. This is the first video of this format, and I can say that I did not manage to do what I planned. In fact, I could have been upset, but I am glad that everything happened this way, because this is the truth of Ukrainians, now the whole world can see how people living in frontline cities feel and how our defenders are fighting for every piece of our land,” Ramina Eskhakhai. <\/span><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Locals who stayed in the city do not want to leave their homes, and when asked about the reasons for not leaving, they say that they have no money and that there is no one waiting for them in other cities.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the military, who accompanied Ramina and the team around the city, there was also a volunteer and former TV presenter Denys Khrystov. He changed his profession to help<\/a> people. For almost a year, he has been personally evacuating people from the hottest spots of the country. <\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the report from the city of Bakhmut, Ramina and her team came under mortar fire (from 51:00 minutes of the video). The journalists were rescued by the military, who properly managed the actions during the shelling. There was continuous shelling 800 meters away, windows in neighboring houses were shattered, and the report had to be stopped because of the great danger to the team. <\/span><\/p>\n
