The Ukrainian national team showed an excellent result at the European Weightlifting Championship<\/span> among boys and girls under 15 and under 17 years of age,<\/span> winning<\/span> 31 medals<\/span> in various categories<\/span> <\/span>and winning the title of European champions!<\/span> <\/p>\n

Athletes from 33 countries of the world took part<\/span> in the competition ,<\/span> held<\/span> in the city of Rashin (Poland)<\/span> on August 10-17<\/span> . Ukraine was represented by 31 athletes: seven girls in the age group under 15 years, four – under 17 years, 10 boys<\/span> under 15 years and 10 – under 17 years.<\/span> <\/p>\n

1st place – boys under 15 years old<\/span><\/p>\n

2nd place – boys under 17 years old<\/span><\/p>\n

3rd place – girls under 15 years old.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The results of the national team are inspiring even in these difficult times<\/span>have faith in our strength. Despite all the difficulties, Ukrainian athletes are not<\/span>improve the training process, continue to work and achieve success in the international arena. It is extremely important that Ukraine demonstrates all its power to the world today, even in this way<\/span> and indomitability, absolutely in all directions!” –<\/span> noted the president of the Weightlifting Federation of Ukraine Oleksandr Gerega.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Sofia Naumova<\/span> symbolically brought the first award to the Ukrainian national team<\/span> .<\/span> The invaders destroyed her house and all the awards, but she started a new countdown of her achievements for the glory of Ukrainian sports! Sofia won three awards in a difficult and spectacular competition among girls d<\/span>at 17 years old in the weight category up to 40 kg: gold in the jerk (49<\/span> kg), silver in the push (58 kg) and silver in the sum of the dueling with a result of 107 kg.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

Alina Daderko<\/span> also<\/span> achieved incredible results<\/span> . She became the European champion among girls under 15 years of age in the weight category up to 55 kg. The athlete won three medals in<\/span>of the continental championship: gold in the sprint, silver in the push and gold in the sum of dueling.<\/span> Among girls up to 15 years old, Anna Korol<\/span> won silver in the jerk, bronze in the push and bronze in the all-around in the weight category up to 71 kg.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ukrainian Sofia Kozak<\/span> became the champion of Europe in weightlifting<\/span> ! In the weight category up to 76 kg among girls under 15 years of age, she confidently won a victory and won a gold medal in the jerk, push and another gold in the sum of dueling!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Oleksandra Chmukh<\/span> won bronze and silver medals among<\/span> girls under 15 years of age in the weight category up to 59 kg, showing the result in the sum of 155 kg (jerk – 72 kg, push – 83 kg).<\/span><\/div>\n

The men’s national team also achieved great results! <\/span>Among boys up to 17 years old in the weight category<\/span>up to 73 kg<\/span> Maxim Demchyshyn<\/span> won bronze medals in the sum of dueling, in the jerk and push, <\/span>Vitaly Daderko<\/span> received a silver medal in the sprint, and <\/span>Ivan Kalin<\/span> in heavy wrestling, he won bronze in the sum of dueling and in the push in the weight category up to 73 kg. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the weight<\/span> and category up to 81 kg<\/span> , Valentyn Kurdybakha<\/span> won gold medals in the sum of dueling, jerk and push.<\/span> Vyacheslav Ktitarev<\/span> – silver in the sprint and bronze in the sum of the dueling, and<\/span> Hleb Berezin<\/span> – silver in the push.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the weight category up to 96 kg, he won a silver medal in the sprint<\/span>orov <\/span>Andriy Borovskyi.<\/span> AND <\/span>Vladyslav Golovanov<\/span> won silver medals in the sum of dueling, jerk and push in the +102 kg weight category among boys under 15 years of age. <\/span>Mykhailo Novosad<\/span> became a silver medalist in the jerk in the weight category up to 55 kg among boys under 15<\/span>kiv<\/span><\/p>\n
